The Secret to Miracles

miraclesbloom.jpg

Last week I wrote about living this summer with intention, and so far so good.

I love living with intention!! It’s making a big difference. I hope it is for you too.

I’ve already had some time in the sun with my daughter laughing and playing in the pool and we actually pulled out an old game a few nights ago after dinner. It was amazing to see the difference in our mood that evening. We all seemed a little lighter.

We have been laughing a lot more lately too!

I would like to give all the credit to “being intentional” however that’s not where the credit is due.

A few weeks ago, I started praying for my family. Not some long eloquent profound prayers, just sincere prayers from my heart.

And guess what?

The more I pray, the more I see God answering.

We’ve all heard it time and time again that there is power in prayer, but do we really live our daily lives believing the REAL POWER in prayer?

I really believe with every ounce of me that prayer is the fertile soil where miracles bloom.

This week I want to challenge you to step up your prayer life. What is your heart longing for? What needs to change in your life or in a loved ones life that only God can do?

Seek the Lord with all your heart and expect to see miracles today. That’s why Jesus came, so that we may have life and enjoy it to the fullest.

“If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!” Luke 17:6 NIV

Pray in faith today sweet Sisters. He is waiting for you.

I love hearing from you. Leave a comment below.

  1. Hello, Linda. Thank you for another thought provoking post. 🙂 I am being intentional on several things in my life. Losing weight( I joined Weight Watchers and have lost 6 pounds so far). That is a big accomplishment for me. Also, I am being intentional on praying for someone when I tell them I will pray for them. It’s so easy to say, “I will pray for you.” and then, life happens and sometimes, I forget. But, lately, I am working on being intentional with praying, as I know God is listening every time I speak to Him. He even hears me when my thoughts are not out loud, but, in my mind.
You are so sweet! I love your posts. Blessings, hugs, and love to you! 🙂

  2. I pray for my family also and have been so long, and I am seeing God working in my family also.It is so an heart lifting thing to see God at work.I praise Him and thank Him daily Hugs to you Linda for your posts!

  3. I have been intentional in sending encouraging daily texts to family and friends on my contact list. I thank God for this (sort of) ministry. The comments and feedback I receive let’s me know that people are hurting and desperately need the Word of God planted and watered in their lives. When I receive praise reports I give God ALL the glory and I pray that I will never glorify myself because it is HIM who answers prayer. Linda I thank God and you for your faithfulness in what you do. Please know that your work is not in vain.
