{Step 1}  Pray.

{Step 2} Create focus statement. Start with jotting down words that you feel deeply connected to.

{Step 3} Create visual. Make a vision board, create a picture, find an object that reminds you of your focus.

{Step 4} Place your visual in multiple locations. Wallpaper on your phone, in your calendar, on bathroom mirror.

{Step 5} Spend a few minutes every morning reading over your visions, maybe even journal about it.

  1. I love this blog! The five steps to focus on but especially Step 1 – jotting down words we feel deeply connected to. You are going to have a great 2015. You are off to a great start. Thank you so much for your encouragement in your blogs.

  2. Hello, dear friend! Your post today really makes me think and ponder. I want to try to follow your example and create a vision for 2015. I am going to spend some time praying and thinking about the direction I would like to go in for 2015. I know that I want to incorporate good healthy eating habits and definitely to be calmer in my thinking. I have completed serving a term on one committee and that will reduce stress for me. I enjoyed serving, but, it was a stressful committee. 🙂 Thank you for your thoughts and thank you for continuing to pray for us. Love and hugs!!!

    • Melissa please share with me after you create your vision for 2015! I’m excited for you. It sounds like you are a great path for the year. Thank you for sharing your heart hear. Much love!!

  3. Thank you Linda for the video, I always leave your videos/blogs feeling renewed in what God is doing in my life. This is the 1st year I am focusing on one word and one verse, my 6th Spirtual birthday is this month and I am so excited! My word is hope and my verse is Colossians 1:23 CEV. Please pray I not only live out my word and verse but that I respond this winter with hope and not frustration. I have a terminal lung condition and winters in Central, Il mean I am locked away, a prisoner to my failing body but God provided a big way for me to serve feom home with Proverbs 31 Online Bible Study. Thanks! Have a blessed week!

    • Hi Melissa, I understand the challenge of being stuck at home and not being able to leave. When I was going through chemo it could get very discouraging. But I am here to tell you today (if I only knew then what I know now) during this quiet season in your life seek God intimately…dig deeper in your relationship with him. Today, now that I’m healthy I want as much time as I can get to spend with him. Thank you for being a part of my blog community. Sending you virtual (((hugs))) today!!

  4. My vision for 2015 is to move from lack to prosperity. I find myself constantly struggling in faith despite what the Words says. So many obstacles, challenges, trials and test for several years. Father, I seek your face and thank you for the vessel that brought forth the encouragement to walk by faith and not by sight. As two or more agree Father I ask for victory , I ask for prosperity spiritually, mentally, physically and financially. I thank you Father . In Jesus Name. Amen.

    • I prayed your prayer with you Zella. This will be a great year for you grounded in His promises. I’m so happy to connect with you here. ((hugs))
