What To Do When You Don’t Achieve Your Goal

I’m disappointed to tell you that I will not be running the half marathon in two weeks. šŸ™ I’ve been sick for the last few weeks and my body is telling me it is not a wise idea to do the event.

Even though I’ve questioned God why this happened, I do believe there are so many lessons to learn. I am so grateful for all that I’ve accomplished up to this point in my goal to run 13.1 miles!

Yesterday I decided after talking with my book coach Lee McCracken (Author of A Prayer and a Pink Pedicure) that on Nov. 8, I will celebrate the day with my family by going to the mountains and enjoying the outdoors. I will remain thankful and not focus on what I cannot do but on what I CAN DO!

I want to hear where you are with your goals. Are struggling in any area or are you right on track? Do you need redirect yourself or adjust your goal? Leave me a comment below.
