  1. I am a stress eater so a lot of my weight issues come from stress. I know I need to break this habit by turning to God and not to food. I am trying to learn to use exercise as a stress reliever.

  2. Stress really affects so many areas of my life. I need this bible study to reduce the amount of stress and how it affects my body, mind and spirit. I am sleep deprived, too controlling and overwhelmed. I realy want to turn this over to God and find my joy again!

  3. Stress affects my life in many different ways. I get anxiety and fear things plus more. Its not a good feeling. But most of all if I dont handle my stress it takes away from me and everything I can be and give as a person.

  4. Stress affects my life in a lot of ways. As a mother of 2 girls ages 5 and 8 and a teacher it is hard to balance work and family. Stress causes my head to hurt and my neck muscles to be tense. Add on top of that the stress of trying to take care of my husband and remain romantically in love and you can see a picture of stress.

  5. Stress often causes me to become short with the people closest to me and then adds more frustration to the day! I enjoy spending time in the outdoors under God’s creation when I feeling stressed! There’s something calming about the outdoors!

  6. I am so excited for this new series! I’ve been looking for an online bible study and I cannot wait for this one! The subject is perfect too! I’m 21 and a full time student in college battling 3 jobs. I also have a chronic illness that has been getting worse since I was diagnosed at age 17. Last week I just had surgery to get a port placed in my chest in order for me to get IV multiple times a week. It’s been such a challenge to continue my education, manage a relationship, and go about my day dealing with all my symptoms. I just can’t wait to be in full prayer about this study to see what God has instore for me!

  7. Well how does stress affect my life, let me start by saying spiritually, physically, and mentally!!! Surgeries, 7 children, 2 business ,living in ny no offense.

  8. When I am over stressed it leads me to fear to depression to the couch. I get stuck, but really try to allow this to go on for a short time.

  9. Stress and anger go hand in hand for me. When I get stressed I get anxiety and become easily upset. I hate how stress brings these nasty emotions in my life because I know God didn’t create me that way. When im strong enough to not get upset over things I can’t control I feel like I’m living the way God wants me to but it’s not easy. I need tips and advice to help me through stressful times and reminders of how god is in control. Living a stress free life will impact my life but my family’s life too and as mothers we can train our children and their children’s children to trust God, be more patient, and live the way god called us to live if we get stress under control. This study will impact our lives and draw us to live in peace. Which is what we all need in our busy lives.

  10. Stress is not pretty – anxiety, depression, fatigue, sadness. I want peace and joy in my life again.

  11. I do not handle stress well at all. I tend to think worst case scenario and then worry like crazy. I eat when I’m stressed. I also tend to feel tired all the time when I’m stressed even though i never have trouble falling asleep. I’m really looking forward to this study.

  12. Stress for me means I am turned into a short-tempered eating machine. Life isn’t fun when you’re stressed as I am sure you all know. I am so glad to have the privilege to participate in this bible study. Will be praying for everyone as we journey through this together.

  13. When I am stressed, I don’t take care of myself. My diet is poor, I don’t exercise, it tends to put a halt to anything productive. I know that the answer is getting on my knees and looking to God to help me through the situation. I tend to feel helpless and often react quickly to stressful situations without taking a breath and thinking things through. I am looking forward to the study and sharing with the women in the group, I need peace and renewal of life!

  14. Thank you for the opportunity to win these calls. I am really looking forward to this study. The last Unglued study really helped me to stop and think before I spit harmful words that can’t be taken back.

  15. Stress often prevents me from living the full and free life God calls me to. I am not content with that life. I want to live fully the life God has planned for me.

  16. Stress gave me irritable bowel syndrome years ago. I have ;earned to live with the IBS, but some days it still rears its ugly head. Stress also makes me tired and irritable. but one of my great stress relievers is exercise. Which I now do for God as I am a Body and Soul aerobics instructor and I am running my first half marathon in 3 weeks with teamToby.

  17. When I’m stressed I don’t care of myself the way I should and I can get grumpy with those I’m closest too. I would love to learn more on how to be better manage my stress! 🙂

  18. Stress is a controlling factor in my life and
I hate it… I worry and stress about everything.
It has taken my Joy and ripped it into pieces.
My daily life is affected with my husband & son. It leaves me weighted down and is trying
to suck the life out of me.

  19. Stress seems to have always been a part of my adult life. From a very demanding job for 25 years, I believe this has caused enormous damage to my body, by weight gain, nerves, sleepless nights, worrying over things I have no control over, to premature aging of my body and mind. I am looking forward to doing this study and learning how to let go and let God, and learn new tools to make my life less stressed!

  20. I’m a 911 Dispatcher & I’m normally able to make it through my shifts & my personal life with stress rolling off like “water off a ducks back” lol. But I’ve been in therapy for almost a year now working on some childhood issues & its generated loads stress. Head & neck aches are now part of my daily routine. “Stressed Less Living” would be amazing – looking forward to the bible study.

  21. Stress…wow! How does it affect my life? How does it NOT affect my life, and everyone who “dare” approach me. Stress is a very deceptive “condition”. It has made me argue with the love of my life (darling husband). It has made my blood pressure go up to where my meds had to be increased, especially when I lost my sweet Mama to Alzheimer’s. It has a hand in my controlling myself and others, so that I “think” I can keep myself and my world in a place where I can handle it. It has stolen my precious sleep so that I am not as efficient and as “sharp” a worker for the Kingdom of God…which really makes me sad and that goes into guilt…I am a Christian why can’t I be stronger than this?? As deceptive as it is, I am tricked into thinking I can get rid of it…and have tried a “gazillion” ways…without complete success. The Lord has helped me with some, but as I get some relief, it seems to find another “cloak” to wear and sneaks back in. Yes, Lord and ladies…I am ready for some lasting help from The Lord!! I KNOW the God of peace…Jehovah Shalom will be there for each and every one of us.

  22. Stress affects my life in a very frustrating way – our family is dealing with many stressful issues right now and it makes me feel stuck…frozen…like I can’t find a way out of a deep hole. I am praying for God to show me how to let go of the stress and move forward!

  23. Stress always effects me in physical ways. I get tired and headaches and physically sick when I am stressed. I also turn to food for comfort when I am stressed. I have a hard time letting go and letting God be in control
