Inspirational Coaching Minute

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

  1. Our church does a one year read through the bible and we are in the story of the profit Elijah. My reflection this morning on todays portion of the reading was how Elijah stayed focused on God – looking for Him in a whisper or in a full blown miracle. It just started my day in such a great way of knowing no matter what distractions are going on around me I must look for God everywhere, in everything. I had a challenging day, but I was conscious of looking for God. I can only try each day as it comes.

  2. Hi Linda,
right now it seems like I have so many things to focus on: my daughter that just graduated from high school, my last coding certification to get before 2014, my finances, my relationship with my husband……So where do I start??????
The verse you provided is where i need to start!!! thank you so much!!

  3. My focus is developing a deeper connect in praying in the spirit. It is easy to intercede on behalf of others, however I want to enhance my prayer by speaking in tongues.

  4. Good morning Linda! Love is all that 1Corinthians 13:4-7 says it is…today I will focus on loving my Lord! Today I will try not to be so judgmental of others, that is His right. I will work with others through God’s love to support them in their efforts vs deciding what I think they should do, unless I am helping them decide out of love and concern. Thanks for your video message. It gave life to this verse for me today!
