It’s Truly a Miracle!

What were you doing six years ago today?

I remember it all too well. Six years ago is when this miracle journey began.

I am so AMAZED & GRATEFUL that I have you, this blog community, to love, encourage and inspire one another. When I was diagnosed with cancer I prayed to have more time on earth to share the love of Christ with others and that is what I get to do here!

Today I want us to share our gratitude to God for all the miracles in our life in this very moment!

I am grateful that I get to make this video and talk with you, that I’m training for a half marathon, for my health, that I can breathe on my own without assistance from a machine and most of all the Gift of Life!

Everyone who comments will be entered to Win a copy of The Mended Heart by Suzanne Eller. Lets praise God and share what we are grateful for today!

  1. I am thankful to God for so many things. My family, friends, people who I don’t even know that have shown God’s love to me, sunshine, rain, every season, forgiveness, love, happiness, sadness, sight, sound, touch, taste, doctors and nurses who helped me through breast cancer 10 years ago and still help me today, medicines, food, water, the children who show up at our back door for popsicles and just to chat with us, books to read, Christian online groups, the ability to laugh at myself, teddy bears, anything that is the color pink, flowers…… I am thankful for you, Linda Kuhar, as you continue to amaze me and inspire me. God Bless You!!! Love and hugs!!!!

  7. Dear Linda, I must confess that I am so backed up with emails and I started deleting some without reading them and I almost deleted today’s post. I’m so glad I didn’t, because as I listened to your video and read the post, I was reminded of how blessed we are. But most of all I was reminded of how much I take for granted: being able to walk, talk, breathe, think, laugh, cry, pray, see, smell, taste, hear, feel, work, play, serve, help, BE! LIVE!
I thank God for you, Linda. For sharing your life and the Love of Christ with us. You are a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.

    • Jocelyn I’m so happy you were encouraged by the post 🙂 I often take so much for granted too. I am grateful for you too my friend. Thank you for commenting. You warmed my heart. xoxo

  10. Thank you, Linda, for your message today. I rejoice with you that you are able to sit on your porch and cry, remembering the trial God has carried you through. Thank you for glorifying Him in your struggle by telling your story and encouraging us! Keep on carrying on toward your goal!!!
So grateful for my sisters who visited me this weekend, my health, my God who knows me and provides for every little thing, for the opportunities to show His love and grace to others in need; my children. So extremely grateful that God has not given up on me!

    • Thank you LuAnne! I heard Joyce Meyer say the other day that God has never been mad at me EVER! He loves us unconditionally…always adoring us. I am grateful you are here on the blog!! xoxo

  11. I am so thankful for this life I still have despite my diagnosis that God has a greater plan than I could see and certainty than the Drs could see. That despite how badly damaged my lungs are that I can breathe on my own, while it may be a struggle I still don’t need a trachea or even a oxygen machine.
I am so thankful for you Linda, for your story, to be able to be a part of your launch team and for how God has used you in my life to inspire, encourage and motivate me!
Mostly I am thankful for this past weekend. As you posted this I was at the Joyce Meyer Women’s Conference and the whole trip, including a ticket for my Mom was gifted to me by my small Facebook group through Proverbs 31 OBS. I have been a member of this group for years and God called me to start leading it about a year ago and this journey has been beyond amazing. For my birthday this big group of gals from all over the WORLD (Netherlands and South Africa included) gathered together from the large things like tickets and hotel room and they each sent me birthday cards knowing I love snail mail with balloons for me to inflate once we were there and included spending money which blessed both my Mom and I with teachings to take home. My Mom turned to me Friday night, half way through and said, “I may have never been prouder of you than I am at that moment because I sees what God is doing in your life, how loved you make others feel and how loved I you are.” Two of the girls were also there with us well!
I am thankful that our God is good even when things don’t look good!

    • WOW Melissa!!!! What an amazing testimony your life is my sweet friend. You deserved all the love and gifts. You are a light to so many and especially to me!!! I love you so much!! Thank you for being you!! You are a gift to me!! xoxo

  12. I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my husband who is my best friend! Even though he is going through a rough time and is in the hospital, I know he is where he needs to be. This makes me thankful for all the healthcare providers who are working to make him better. I am thankful for a vehicle that runs, that I have money for gasoline to make the 100 mile drive to see him. Thankful that I have friends who have provided meals and childcare for me. I am thankful for the patience that God has given me to get through this stressful time in my life. Most of all, I am thankful for all my family and friends who have been praying for our family — and for my husband to be able to manage his PTSD.

    • Susan you have the spirit of God pouring through you!! I continue to pray for you and your family. Your grateful heart makes me even more grateful today. Thank you for sharing here. xoxo
